Converse Cons and Polar Skate co. Launch The Jack Purcell Pro

Converse teamed up for the second time with Swedish skateboarding company Polar Skate Co. to introduce a Jack Purcell Pro sneaker and apparel collection.

The sneaker, which stays true to the clean style of the iconic Jack Purcell silhouette, comes in three premium suede options (emerald green, navy and black), each with a white midsole and the traditional light blue outsole. It features skate-specific performance updates that improves grip and durability, including thinner toe caps to enable riders to feel the board better, a wider tongue and an OrthoLite ® sockliner with Nike Zoom Air for lightweight, responsive cushioning.

Additionally, Polar Skate Co. founder Pontus Alv leaves his mark with the brand’s signature Jack Purcell smile on the front of the sneaker as well as the happy and sad faces on the license plates, the Polar fill logo on the heel stripe and the No Comply lady on the inside of the tongue.

As a compliment to the sneaker, the team is also introducing an apparel line, which was entirely inspired by the Venice Beach skate scene in the 80s. The collection includes a pullover hoodie, crewneck and long-sleeve cotton jersey tees, a woven short and a six-panel deconstructed hat.

The Converse Cons x Polar Skate Co. Jack Purcell Pro sneaker and apparel collection will launch July end at Converse retail stores and on converse.com.
