As part of his efforts to transform social media platform X (formerly Twitter) into an all-encompassing “everything app”, Elon Musk, Chief Technology Officer and Owner has announced an early version of video and audio calling for select users.

Musk personally shared this news on the platform and directed users how to activate this new feature he termed an “early version of video & audio calling on X.”

Musk has recently implemented several enhancements and changes to Twitter since his acquisition of the social media company nearly one year ago, following its rebranding as X.” His stated objective is for it to become an all-inclusive super app with services ranging from messaging and social networking to peer-to-peer payments.
