Arsenal Ladies Football Club are teaming up with Hertfordshire Mavericks Netball Club and Saracens Women’s Rugby Club to give girls aged between seven and 15 the opportunity to try out new sports and learn from the professionals.

‘Girls Get Sporty’ is a day for everyone; all abilities are welcome to take part in the fun and active day which will take place from 11-3pm on Saturday, August 17 at the Sports Village on the de Havilland campus at Hertfordshire Sports Village.

Attendees will be split into three groups and take part in thirty-minute activity sessions, one for each sport, before taking part in a question and answer session with the players.

To end the day, Sarrie the Camel, Miranda the Meerkat, Gunnersaurus the Dinosaur and Stanley the Stag will battle it out to see who the winner will be of the Hertfordshire Sports Village Mascot Race 2013.

All girls will receive a complimentary group photo and goody bag on the day.
