C-HR+
  • Toyota offers only BEV vehicles in Europe: The Toyota C-HR+, bZ4X, and Lexus RZ electric vehicles, which have enhanced range, performance, and charging efficiency.
  • These new models bring an option to upgrade battery technology, fast charging, advanced technology, and premium drive assistance. The company’s aim with these upgrades is to go for a carbon-neutral mode.

Toyota is intensifying its electric vehicle game by introducing three new Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in Europe: the Toyota C-HR+, the upgraded bZ4X, and the new Lexus RZ. This only reflects Toyota’s multi-pathway strategy for becoming carbon-neutral by giving customers the much-needed choice that caters to their varied needs, taking into account the effect of carbon emissions.

Toyota C-HR+: Electric Evolution of a Fan Favourite

The C-HR is one of the most popular cars from Toyota, hitting the news in an all-electric version with the name Toyota C-HR+. It will hit the European roads in late 2025. The car is elegantly designed and easy to handle in the compact SUV segment made on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform.

There will be two choices of batteries: a 57.7 kWh cell, which gives the user a driving range of 455 kilometres, or another battery type, which is much larger, at 77.0 kWh, that extends the driving range to 600 kilometres. The C-HR+ will offer all-wheel and front-wheel drive configurations, catering at the same time to city drivers and off-road enthusiasts. In addition to all this, a very spacious and functional-from-standard interior is a good premium.

Upgraded Toyota bZ4X: More Range, Faster Charging

Toyota’s existing SUV, the bZ4X, has undergone refinements since it was upgraded, making it more suited for use in our daily lives. The updated model comes outfitted with two battery sizes: a standard 57.7 kWh battery and an optional 73.1 kWh battery, so you get more flexibility according to your driving range needs. In comparison, the larger battery is 70 km longer before it enters standby when the SoC drops below 5%.

To name just one of the biggest improvements, Toyota has decided to use the world’s first cold-climate pre-heat battery preconditioning technology; it ensures that the battery remains within the most efficient range during those cold-weather charges. As a result, an EV with fast charging in 30 minutes is one of the EV owners’ things to be happy about. The electric architecture and drive e-axle have been optimised for the suspension system for better handling and driving pleasure. The updated version will likely make an entry in European showrooms in the second half of 2025.

Lexus RZ: Premium Offerings in Electric Driving

Lexus is progressing towards electric innovation, ever enhancing the antecedent of driving quality. What is looming large is the updated version of Toyota’s ‘The Natural’ Driving; it is a concept that can make electric driving an intuitive and engaging experience.

With more power and increased driving range, not to overlook faster charging, the new RZ is aimed clearly at the biggest players in the luxury EV league. Everything is for this purpose: the next-gen Steer-by-Wire System that ensures accurate and responsive handling.

For bigger fun in luxury, Lexus gives us the RZ 550e F SPORT. The sports model, with more powerful motors at the front and rear ends, gives about 300 kW power output, so it pays off for enjoying a sporty ride.

Toyota’s Promise of Sustainability

With these electric-friendly models, Toyota seemed to embody its outlook for a future where customers will have more options in green mobility. With Toyota’s expanded BEV range, the carmaker ensures that European customers will have a vehicle that suits various lifestyles while also acting responsibly.

As it continues to push further generationally, Toyota envisages an exciting surge forward in its goal for true carbon neutrality.
