Credit Suisse Launches Modular Banking Products for Private Clients: CSX Plus, Pro, and Platinum Replace Bonviva

Investment

Credit Suisse is launching modular banking products for private clients in Switzerland. This modular approach enables clients to select basic products and services that match their individual needs. Three new credit card lines – CSX Plus, Pro, and Platinum  – are being added to the CSX product range. The existing Basic Banking and Bonviva Silver, Gold, and Platinum package solutions will gradually be replaced.

Aimed at both new and existing private clients in Switzerland, the Credit Suisse offering is based on a modular approach. This modularity offers maximum flexibility as well as the possibility to change the selected products in line with personal needs. In addition, the three credit card lines – CSX Plus, Pro, and Platinum – are being added to the existing CSX product range. They are available immediately, in addition to current accounts in 21 different currencies, savings accounts, and debit cards with various options for cash withdrawals. CSX therefore meets the key requirements of day-to-day banking in a holistic way via a single app. Pricing of the new CSX offering is transparent and based on the selected number of accounts and debit cards, the chosen option for cash withdrawals, as well as the desired version of credit card line. Depending on their choice of credit card line, clients receive different cards and benefit from, among other things, the following advantages:

  • CSX Platinum:

An American Express® Platinum card and the choice of a CSX Mastercard® Platinum or CSX Visa Platinum card – all made of metal. The exclusive American Express® Platinum card offers numerous advantages such as Membership Rewards® points that never expire, an annual SWISS voucher worth CHF 100, and access to 1,400 airport lounges worldwide. The American Express® Platinum card, the CSX Mastercard® Platinum, and the CSX Visa Platinum card all offer extensive insurance benefits.

  • CSX Pro:

A CSX Pro American Express® card with up to 1.5% cashback and the option of a CSX Pro Mastercard® or CSX Pro Visa card with 0.2% cashback on certain transactions and various insurance benefits.

  • CSX Plus:

A CSX Plus Mastercard® with 0.2% cashback on certain transactions and insurance benefits for care-free shopping.

CSX Plus, Pro, and Platinum can be requested and configured in our branches, by phone, or via a client advisor effective immediately. Fully digital opening and independent changes to product selection will be possible in the CSX app from mid-June. Existing Basic Banking and Bonviva clients will be transferred gradually and automatically to the new CSX platform.

Anke Bridge Haux, Head of Personal & Business Banking at Credit Suisse, says: “The new modular offering addresses our clients’ need for flexible, transparent account and card solutions on a lasting basis. At the same time, we are reaffirming our omni-channel strategy. Regardless of which channel clients wish to use to interact with us, the diversity of our offering provides a seamless, bespoke client experience.”

Serge Fehr, Head of Private Banking Switzerland at Credit Suisse, adds: “We are already one of the leading providers of private banking services across Switzerland. This modular CSX offering with transparent pricing will be an integral part of our holistic advisory service in the future. We are proud that this will allow us to meet our clients’ individual needs in an even more targeted way.”
